Product Description
Tin bronze is an alloy in which main element is tin. The tin content is generally between 3 and 14%, and is mainly used for the production of elastic components and wear parts. The deformed tin bronze has tin content less than 8%, and sometimes adds some other elements such as phosphorus, lead, and zinc. Phosphorus is a good deoxidizer and improves flow and wear resistance. Adding lead in tin bronze improves machinability wear resistance and casting properties. The alloy has high mechanical properties, anti-wear performance and corrosion resistance, easy cutting, good brazing and welding performance, small shrinkage coefficient and no magnetism.
